           Guinea Pigs Makes Great Pets IF

If you have young children around theese beautiful Pets you need to keep a close eye on that child as they may drop, squeeze or handle them to much.

Dropping Guinea Pig can cause a broken leg as this is very painful to them. Theese creatures legs are very fragile.

Theese creatures that God created are high maintence, they need a good size cage to live in and cleaned at least twice a week, The cage needs to be put in a draft free are where the family spends the most of there time in, 

Things They dont like : loud noice, vaccume cleaners running or yelling to loudly. children bang on cage and being poked at through the cage.

Feeding Your Guinea Pig: Guinea Pig feed, Tommy Hay, Box of guinea Pig fruit and berry. Vegetables are great also for you Guinea Pig,

Veggies: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Carrots, Brussel sprouts, oranges, Peas, beans and bean sprouts,cabbage and celery

Health: Keep guinea warm and away from drafts as they will get sick fast by a draft and die. dont feed guinea pig to much celery, cabbage as it will give a belly ache and gas. Dont keep guinea pig to warm about 75 to 80 degrees is fine. Put blanket over back part of cage and half over the top this will keep some of the draft off your guinea pig.

Bathing: when guinea pig is in need of a bath, use baby shampoo only, dont run water over guinea pig put water in sink use lukewarm water and use your hand as a cup and pour over guinea pig with guinea pig in other hand close to water in sink make sure there is a towel on the bottom of sink just in case you drop the guinea pig. and then towel dry. Other soap used may be toxic for your guinea pig.

Guinea pig likes to walk around when out of cage and explore, if you happen to lose your guinea pig get the bag of food out and he will come running out to eat. they like to eat alot .

Water:  Make sure your guinea pig always have water, and bottle water is the best for them as there is to much chlorine in city water, Make sure there water bottle is thourly cleaned from bacteria that may have developed around nozzle part you would have to take the washer out and use a q.tip for this part to be cleaned.
